I don't believe I have ever been to a busier state park. Perhaps half the visitor's center is occupied by food and snack concessions. Despite all the craziness, I enjoyed watching everyone having a good time eating, drinking, hiking, and complaining about hiking. And the walk along the river remains lovely.
