I stopped to take a photo of this place and discovered my phone was kaput. This photo was actually taken by another biker.
I didn't get a chance to recharge my cellphone the night
before. I camped on a hill above the Petosi fairgrounds
where the local Relay for Life ran into the early morning. I dozed off to live country music. In the morning I slipped through a gap in the fence to wash up and fill my water bottles.
