This banner is overly hopeful. When we
saw the Giants they were close to have being mathematically
eliminated from the playoffs.
The American pitcher we saw, Shane Youman, is on the left of the
banner. He gave a delightful, post-game interview on the
field after the game. What he said had to be translated,
so he would respond to a question in English, there would be a
brief pause, then the translation, and then loud cheers from the
crowd. He said all the things you would expect, yet he
sounded genuine when he thanked the fans for their support and
said he enjoys playing in Korea.
