Getting ready to head back to Fukuoka, by
way of Kumamoto. When we walked to Aso Shrine, we
encountered some drizzle but no rain. The rain started at
night and continued into the morning. Because it was
raining, the excellent hostel people offered to drive everyone
the three blocks to the station. We put on rain gear and
walked.
Everyone expected that the typhoon or the rain would screw up
the train schedules, and the schedules were indeed goofed up.
