This dog, which Monica called "Charlotte," followed us half the way to Kalkan. When Monica and I were together, he would lead; when we were separated he'd drop back and try to keep an eye on both of us.
When we reached the aqueduct, about halfway to Kalkan, Charlotte took up with a group of hikers headed back to Patara.
