Good place for a panorama of Istanbul; bad place to be alone.
The guard in this photo is preparing to take someone's photo. The guards in Topkapi, and for that matter wherever we've gone, have been quite nice and courteous. One fought his way through a tightly packed crowd in the weapons museum to tap Monica on the shoulder and ask her quietly to stop taking photos.
