Another of the historic boats on Hyde Street Pier is the Balclutha, an iron-hull square rigger built in 1886.
The water in the background, is part of the Aquatic Park - where crazy people, like Martin and Chantal, swim laps. It is protected by a long curved breakwater - the end of it is behind the Balcutha. At the top of the little wooded hill is the Ft. Mason Youth Hostel. That's one of Fort Mason's piers in left center. And the Golden Gate Bridge, which even crazier people - like Martin and Chantal - swim beneath.
