The Balclutha appeared in the 1935 movie "Mutiny on the Bounty" and was the last vessel to fly the flag of the Hawaiian Kingdom.
The Balclutha ended its career carrying lumber from Washington and Oregon to California. At one point, nine hundred ships were involved in that lumber run.
