Sedan has a tiny but friendly library. It has a puzzling and peeling "Yellow Brick Road" running down the middle of the sidewalks downtown which bears the names of donors. There is a museum that one can visit by calling one of the numbers on the door. And it has a cute park called "The Hollow."

But, the best thing in Sedan is an ice cream place on the main street.  It serves the largest scoops of ice cream on the planet.  Before I knew what I was in for, I innocently ordered a double scoop cone.  For $2.52, how big could it be?

Well, it could be giant!  The two scoops of ice cream towered -- I know this sounds impossible -- literally nine inches above the rim of the cone.  It was amazing.  AMAZING.

While eating the half gallon of ice cream on my cone -- of course I ate it all -- I had a chance to listen to the bluegrass band on the main street playing really awful songs very, very well.
