Since we found the wall this time, the trail
became nearly continuous and the number of hikers
increased. Most of these hikers are in groups, sporting
brightly colored shoes and clothing, very modern hiking gear,
poles, and backpacks.
At the top of the first little mountain, there were loads of
picnics with substantial spreads and alcohol. In places,
though we couldn't see any picnickers, we could hear their
laughter from off in the trees. Obviously, people were having a
good time.
